Creamy Tuna and Green Bean Casserole with Dubliner Cheese

Why this?
This Creamy Tuna and Green Bean Casserole with Dubliner Cheese is a comforting keto-friendly dinner that blends rich, creamy textures with the savory flavor of Dubliner cheese and tuna. Using low-carb pasta keeps it keto-compliant while the chicken bouillon and cream cheese enhance the depth of flavor without overpowering the main ingredients.

Ingredients:

1 can (14.5 oz) canned green beans, drained
1 cup shredded Dubliner cheese
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon chicken bouillon powder
1 tablespoon flour
1 can (5 oz) canned tuna, drained
2 cups cooked low-carb pasta (such as shirataki or zucchini noodles for keto)

Preparation Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, whisk together the flour and chicken bouillon powder.
  • Gradually add the milk while whisking continuously to avoid lumps.
  • Add the cream cheese and stir until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  • Remove the sauce from heat and stir in half of the shredded Dubliner cheese until melted.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained green beans, canned tuna, cooked low-carb pasta, and cheese sauce. Mix well.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and sprinkle the remaining Dubliner cheese evenly on top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  • Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
